Welsh Hills Bakery, an established bakery for nearly 60 years, started making gluten free cakes and short crust pastry pies in 2001 and was the 1st to supply two of the UK major supermarket chains with their own brand of gluten free products.
13 years later we are still supplying those same products to them, adding further supermarkets to our customer portfolio.
2008 saw the birth of our own brand of gluten free products named Lovemore Free From Foods. Lovemore has grown steadily to include a range of delicious Shortbreads and Cookies, along with the traditional Apple Pies and Cherry Bakewells, Fruit Slab Cakes and Iced Cakes along with Mince Pies for Christmas.
Lovemore products can be found in USA, Australia, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Hungary, the Middle East and the UK. Shortly to be available in Finland, Bulgaria, Malta, France and Germany.
Now in the third generation family business, we continue to focus on innovation, high quality, and benchmarking against the best, in order to provide “normal” tasting wheat, gluten and dairy free products suitable for any on a gluten free or vegetarian diet.
All Lovemore products are approved by the Coeliac Society and proudly carry the coveted Crossed Grain symbol to verify this and give peace of mind (and stomach) to the discerning consumer.
